Baunei. Hiking from Su Porteddu (Baunei) to Cala Golirtzè - 3h30.

Size was OK, 70cm, but the stone material.

A nice and well maintained trail leads to the beautiful beach.

Nuraghe Tomb of the Giants 'Tomba di giganti di Osono' (Triei, near Baunei, Bronze age).

There are over 300 of these in Sardinia.  The burial chamber is about 10m long.

Hiking from Ponte sa Brava (Dorgali) to the Gola di Gorropu - 4h45.

Billed as Europe's deepest canyon, ex-equo with the French Verdon Canyon.

500m High vertical slopes, most narrow point at 4m.

Start of the trail.  Take left to reach the canyon,
take right for Tiscali (archaeological site, not visited).

A welcome natural water spring.
