 The lovely Jesuit Saint Nicholas church in Jausiers,
the very last >1000-inhabitants-village before reaching

Saint Paul sur Ubaye and finally Fouillouse.

Between Saint Paul sur Ubaye and Fouillouse, the famous 'Chatelet bridge',

spanning 18m, 108m above the river.  Destroyed during WW2, rebuild in 1945.

The Guest House in Fouillouse, the Gite d'Etape 'Les Granges' at the far end of the road.

They have four private bedrooms and and three larger shared rooms..

Col de Vars, also the border between the Haute Alpes and the Apes de Haute Provence.

Between Vars and Guillestre, the beautiful valey of the Val d'Escreins.

Departure point for many nice hiking trails.
